What's New?

We are! Thanks for stopping by! Star Car Central is a place I dreamed up for fans of the rolling stars of movies and TV to find each other. Check back here
and bookmark our home page, as we are just getting started. The site is designed so that whatever car you love, you can find out more about the
screen cars, or connect with our membership in Hollywood or around the country. Unlike the many sites devoted to all of these vehicles, our focus is
connecting owners of DRIVABLE Star Cars and helping people find us!

  • UPDATE 10-6-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Success!! Team Gotham made it back home to the cave! Nate was never so glad to see the freeways of Los Angeles! They had a great day (nice cool weather so no overheating problems!) on the trip from Nevada with fun stops to find the "Mad Greek" in Barstow, the first Del Taco and a pilgrimage to the Route 66 Museum. For the first day of the Rally, Team Gotham did not come in in last place! They got to the beautiful Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills at 3:02pm! In celebration, Batman and Robin even made a personal appearance at the Awards Reception tonight! The guys are full of stories, the Batmobile grill is full of splattered bugs and all is well with the world! Stay tuned for Nate's descriptive stories to emerge!

  • UPDATE 10-4-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Team Gotham made it to Henderson, Nevada tonight with one minute to spare! They actually earned 8 points for today's travel! This is really quite impressive considering today's adventures included building an exhaust pipe with a paper cup and duct tape in the rain while answering questions from several Arizona hippies! That wasn't exactly on their official list of Rally activities for the day but was essential to keep Team Gotham from passing out from gas fumes. It seems that the valet at last night's hotel must have knocked the exhaust pipe loose while putting on the car cover and it fell off as they were traveling across the beautiful painted dessert looking for the "World's Largest Teepee" and finding the "Corner in Winslow Arizona" made famous by the Eagles in the 70's! Team Gotham is healthy and happy and is currently out looking for some dinner (as of 9:15pm.) Tomorrow, the Fireballers will be having day of track competitions and then head home to California on Saturday. The end is in sight!

  • UPDATE 10-3-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Team Gotham reunited with the rest of the Fireballers tonight in Albuquerque, safe and sound and without mishap! They took a southern route out of Houston and stopped at little Motel 8 and suceeded in avoiding the storms in Okalhoma before arriving in Albuquerque ahead of time today! They are back on track and looking forward to getting back in the game. With the cooler weather, the chance of the Batmobile overheating is decreasing which has greatly reduced the stress levels in Team Gotham! Tomorrow they head for Henderson, NV. Check back soon for updates!

  • UPDATE 10-1-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Well, today was a day of rest for Team Gotham! Nate & Chris spent the day in the pool and in airconditioning with the focus on getting rehydrated and the Batmobile spent the day getting some TLC at a local Firestone shop. A burned out electronic sensor turned out to be the culprit of the shut down in the fast lane yesterday and a few other things were discovered that needed attention to keep Team Gotham safe on the road, so the VISA card got a good workout while Nate & Chris had a good workout in the hotel gym! Team Gotham is thinking of taking a break from the rest of the Fireballers as they head to Oklahoma City on the 2nd due to news of severe storms there. They will probably reunite with the rally when they all arrive in Albuquerque Wednesday night. Stay tuned for the next adventure!

  • UPDATE 9-30-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Okay, here's the Day 2 summary! Nate & Chris woke up in Baton Rouge this morning very thankful to find out that the new car cover Nate bought recently is truly waterproof! (It rained last night!) They got their instructions for the day and were off and running. They had a few delays trying to solve all the clues but succeeded in making it to the meeting place for lunch on time. The afternoon had a few more mishaps. Bad traffic forced Team Gotham onto some back roads in Louisiana only to get caught in another rainstorm. Nate took cover in a car port at a construction site and waited out the storm. After that delay, they were just focused on getting to Houston as quickly as possible and decided skip the afternoon assignment of finding the World's Biggest Fire Hydrant. (It's in Beaumont FYI!) That resulted in losing several points as well as their dinner! Instead, they headed directly toward Houston and got caught in heavy traffic during blistering heat. About 20 minutes from the hotel while going 80mph in the fast lane (trying to make up lost time!), the big black Bat decided to just shut off! (Thanks for all your prayers! Their guardian angels were on duty and kept any accidents from happening!) A helpful tow from AAA and they all arrived safely at the hotel, only to find that the car turned on just fine once it was off the tow truck! Tomorrow, Nate & Chris are planning to take the day off while the other teams compete at the race track. Nate hopes to find a mechanic to check things out and the two plan on spending a lot of time in the pool and in air conditioning! Houston is VERY hot!

  • UPDATE 9-29-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM
Well, Nate (and his son, Chris) have survived the first day of the rally (barely!) and are safely in Baton Rouge tonight! Already, they have had more adventures than I can possibly remember! Many of their adventures occurred before the race ever started in Orlando! Nate will fill you all in on all the colorful details when he has a spare minute to write, but let me just say they include rewiring the fans on the Bat during the welcome party Friday night, burning out the switch and rewiring them again while waiting at the starting line this morning, charging a dead battery, getting caught in a DRENCHING downpour and mopping up the mess with diapers they bought at the grocery store (they were reminded why Batman never solves crimes during the rain!), trying to listen to clues for the rally on a CD player that had been disconnected by mistake while rewiring the fans, and running out of gas as the teams were making their big entry into Baton Rouge! Stay tuned to find out what adventures Team Gotham will encounter on their way to Houston tomorrow!

  • UPDATE 8-10-07 FIREBALL RUN #66 TEAM GOTHAM www.fireballrun.com
Nate and son Chris, AKA Natman and Robin will be at the starting line on Sept. 29 in Orlando, Florida in the N8MOBILE helping www.ChildRescueNetwork.org raise awarness of the missing children across America. "TEAM GOTHAM #66" has been assigned Benjamin Everett whose father killed his mother, and has been a fugitive since 2004. His father was a child actor, Mark Everett and little Benjamin's case has been on "America's Most Wanted" several times.
